The Diablo’s V12 has two $5000 engine computers, which occasionally fail. Lamborghini is sold out of replacements.

Lamborghini Diablo 有兩顆 ECU 偶爾會壞掉,而這東西的庫存巳經賣光了。就算買得到,一顆美金五千元。

不如整套改成 Motec 吧? 不是個好主意,因為這麼做就貶值了。

McLaren F1

McLaren estimates annual running costs to be $30,000. Oil changes are $8000.

養一台 McLaren F1 一年大概要花美金三萬元。換機油要美金八千,輪胎一顆三千。好險此車增值幅度夠大,每一分維護成本都值得。世上沒有幾個地方能搞 McLaren F1,若送去 McLaren 總部保養,運輸時間不算,工期上看六個星期。

Ferrari Enzo

Ferrari dealer 需要添購一套美金一萬元的工具組才能處理 Enzo。Ferrari Enzo 的陶磁碟盤美金六千一片,引擎蓋則是美金六萬元。這塊引擎蓋開打後,由於熱脹冷縮的關係,在引擎冷卻下來前是蓋不回去的。

這種車的保養肯定是不好做。
